Title: Professional Services Consultant

Reports to: EMEA Manager Professional Services

Location: Newbury , UK

Role: To provide pre and post-sales technical consultancy in the radio network planning / optimisation domain.

Qualifications: Degree or higher RF / Telecoms engineering and well experienced in radio network planning and optimisation.

Experience:

• Thorough understanding of wireless technologies, specifically W-CDMA and GSM (IS-95 & CDMA2000 considered beneficial)
• Ability to perform UMTS and GSM link budget analysis
• Experience performing UMTS and GSM network planning and optimization
• Knowledge and understanding of the process for network planning and optimization
• Familiarity with radio planning tools e.g. Aircom Asset, PlanetEV, Forsk Atoll
• Familiarity with drive test post processing tools e.g. TEMS, Actix, Nemo
• Knowledge of ACP tools considered a bonus e.g. Arieso, Actix, Optimi
• Visual Basic, Perl knowledge considered a bonus
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office software

Title: UMTS Subject Matter Expert

Reports to: Chief Technical Officer

Location: Atlanta , GA , USA

Experience:

• UMTS (ABSOLUTELY ABSOLUTELY!) Ericsson base stations (aka “Node Bs”) (ABSOLUTELY!)
• IUB probes (especially from Tektronix)
• GPEH (General Performance Event Handler)
• MRR (Mobile Reporting/measurement)
• Switch statistics ( OSS )
• Software coding/programming is a plus

Qualifications: Masters or higher degree in Electrical Engineering

Title: Sr. RF Engineer

Experience:

• UMTS experience or solid CDMA experience
• GSM knowledge is a plus
• Extremely good tool knowledge( i.e Planet, Wizard, Atoll, Actix, similar planning/design/optimisation tools) is a must
• Knowledge of ACP tools is a plus
• Technical pre sales experience is a plus
• Support experience is a plus
• Software coding experience is a plus
• Solid communication/customer skills (This position requires you to be in front of the customer)
• Fluent in Spanish is a plus
